Serving the Children of the World

The Tawas Kiwanis Club is made up of men and women from all walks of life dedicated to serving the youth and community of the Tawas area.

The Club meets weekly for lunch and fellowship at Northwoods' Steakhouse in East Tawas from 12:05PM to 1:00PM.   The first meeting of the month is reserved for a club business meeting.  Other weekly meetings include speakers on a variety of topics.

Tawas is a small community located on the shores of Lake Huron approximately 3 hours north of Detroit.  Rich in history of logging and fishing the area is a place to kick back, relax and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Great Lakes.  Protected by a natural pennisula that creates Tawas Bay, the community boasts beautiful beaches at the East Tawas and Tawas City community parks and on "The Point" at the State Park.
